Funeral Arrangement For Local Man Who Died On Farm Announced

Funeral arrangements have been confirmed for the local man who died as a result of a workplace accident on his farm.  Mr Tom Childs died on Tuesday January 16th at his place of residence Kilscanlon, Galbally, Co Limerick.  His funeral Mass will be held in the Church of Christ the King Galbally on Sunday morning at 10.30am. Mr Childs will be laid to rest in the local cemetery.

Predeceased by his parents Valentine and Catherine, sister Helen, brother James, brother in-law Mike Fitzgibbon, niece Catherine Richardson and nephew Noel Fitzgibbon.

Beloved husband of Eleanor (née Hennessy, Mitchelstown) and much loved father of Elaine and Melissa. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brother Richie, sisters Ann (Allen) Betty (Taylor) Catherine (Fitzgibbon) Emma (Richardson) Rita (Walsh) and Veronica (Childs) Elaine’s boyfriend Shane brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nephews, nieces relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Lying in reposing at his residence E34WF90 on Saturday, January 20th, from 4 to 8pm followed by evening prayers. Reception into Church of the Christ the King, Galbally on Sunday morning, January 21st, for Mass at 10.30am after which Tom will be laid to rest in the local cemetery.
