A popular restaurant and cafe on the Main Street of Tipperary Town is set to close its doors for the final time next week.
The owners of Flanagans Lane Restaurant says it’s with a heavy heart that they make this announcement, adding that hospitality has taken a tremendous hit over the past few months with costs spiralling out of control.
In a statement on their Facebook page, the owner says unfortunately we are no different than any other business and we cannot sustain profitability in such an environment.
The owners says they weren’t just a cafe and restaurant, they were a community hub for Tipperary Town and are thanking their regular customers who turned up time and time and time again to support a small local business.
The business last day of trading will be next Friday (26th January).
Customers are advised that any gift vouchers can be used up until Friday or can be redeemed in their sister restaurant Flanagans on the Lake in Killaloe.
