Disruption Remains For Tipp Town’s Residents & Businesses Amid Water Outage

Businesses and residents in Tipperary town remain disrupted due to an ongoing water outage today.

A mains pipe on the Bansha road close to Ach na Sheen guesthouse burst yesterday causing damage to the road surface. Staff are working on site today and hope to have the repair completed between 1.30pm to 2pm approximately all going well.

Staff had to cut through the tarmac to reach the piping which was completed at 12.20pm today.

The road between Ach na Sheen and the Roundabout at the Main street junction is closed to traffic to facilitate  repairs.

Traffic can travel via the Link road Kickham Plaza and Bridge street to progress around the area.

Cafes including the Carvery Restaurant in the Shopping Centre and The Mustard Seed in the community Centre are closed due to the leak as there is no water for cooking or toilet facilities.
