A Tipperary Town actor says she’s decided to leave her role on Fair City after almost of decade on the long running soup.
Rachel Pilkington, who plays Jane Black in the hit RTE show, made the announcement of her shock exit this evening.
Ms Pilkington says it’s time now to embrace new challenges & return to her first love, film.
The local actor thanked her hardworking fellow cast members & the wonderful crew in RTÉ who treated her with the greatest respect, love & kindness – always making her feel like such a valued member of the team.
