Archery Club Thurles (Durlas Eile Archers) We meet up in the Hall every second Friday and we have a coach on hand who would like to try archery even if they have never done it before, all equipment is provided.
Doon and District Men’s Shed “Open Evening and Birthday Party” for a “CAR” 100 years old on Saturday 29th July at 7pm at the Old Convent School, Doon. Activities include: Archery, Photography, Star Gazing, Vintage, Craft, Butter making and Card Playing. All are Welcome.
F.A.S.T Face, Arms, Speech and Time A campaign to raise awareness of the signs of stroke and the importance of calling an ambulance as soon as possible is ongoing. There will be an awareness event providing literature and merchandise on the campaign, on Friday July 21st from10.30am to 12 noon at the Tipperary Community Service Centre Restaurant, St. Michael Street. Tipperary Town. Everyone welcome at 11am Martin Quinn will do a short talk on awareness of Stroke.
