A lack of beds for new recruits has led to an accomodation cricis for the Garda training college in Templemore.
100 trainees are due to start on Jan 26th but works underway at the college means they cannot be housed there.
Garda bosses in templemore have now apparently issued an appeal to locals in the town to supply beds which will ultimately be paid for by the taxpayer.
