Uisce Eireann staff are continuing to work on repairs to restore water supply to Tipperary town. Early this morning a by pass operation near Longford bridge resulted in water being restored to most of the affected areas by 10am.
Works are scheduled to be carried out until 6pm with full supply taking a further two to three hours to be restored. Areas still without water include An Duiche, Scallagheen, Carrowclough, Station Road and Glenview Square
The public are asked to contact Uisce Eireann as soon as an outage becomes evident by calling 1 800 278 278. This number is in operation 24 hours every day. Customers will be asked for an Eircode for their business or residence to assist in logging the area impacted by the outage.
