ESB networks reports that power has been restored to 251 customers affected by a power outage earlier today in the Kilross area near Tipperary town. The fault was reported at 6.36am and restored by 7.13am. Customers can find details of power outages on the powercheck.ie website. A fault is not displayed on the website unless 10 customers have reported an outage. ESB networks can be contacted by calling 1 800 372 999 – customers will need to supply their MPRN number or can also check if there is a fault in their area by entering their EIRCODE.
The Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) is the unique 11-digit number assigned to a person’s electricity connection and meter. It is printed on the top right hand corner of the bill issued by the electricity supplier.
