Attention has been called to the number of people arrested on suspicion of drink- or drug-driving in Co Tipperary.

Figures have revealed that 480 people in Co Tipperary were arrested in 2018 on suspicion of driving under the influence of drink or drugs – a year when 11 people died on the county’s roads, three of whom were pedestrians.
