HSE Mid West Community Healthcare has announced changes to the Covid test and tracing services

For the next number of months, PCR testing will continue to be available for those who require it based on Public Health advice.

There will be one test centre in each county offering a seven – day service across this site.

The test centre for Tipperary is based on the grounds of Tipperary University Hospital Heywood Road Entrance, Heywood Rd Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Covid testing is now to cease at the Nenagh Community Testing Centre (CTC). The Nenagh CTC will close on Sunday 18th September 2022.

You can get a PCR test if you have symptoms and you are age 55 or older and have not had a COVID 19 vaccine booster dose, or have a high risk medical condition, or have a weak immune system (immunocompromised), or live in the same household as a person who has a weak immune system or provide support or care for them, or are pregnant , or are a healthcare worker.

For those who require a test this can be arranged through your GP or online via the HSE  website.
