Organisers Of Tipp Town St Patrick’s Day Parade Seeking Volunteers

The organisers of the Tipperary Town St Patrick’s Day Parade are seeking volunteers for the event.
The Committee also say any groups, clubs, businesses  or organisations wishing to March in the Parade should make contact with committee members or via email to [email protected].
The St Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is chaired by John O’Heney.
Tipperary will hold it’s Parade on March 16th commencing at 11am.
The date and time is set to enable the parade to include a 320 strong marching band from Missouri University.
The American band use the song “It’s a long way to Tipperary” in their feature marches.
The CJ Kickham band will lead the parade from The Plan(Davitt Street) to the town centre and then return to perform with the Marching Missous at the review stand. Tipperary Country Singing Star Dee Morrissey is to be the Mistress of Ceremonies for the event.
Volunteers are required to assist with stewarding the event on the day and interested persons can email [email protected] or contact John O’Heney, Josephine Carroll or Cllr Anne Marie Ryan.
