Tipp Town’s Community Singing Group Holds First Meeting

88

An inaugural meeting to form a Community Singing Group in Tipperary town was held at Knockanrawley Resource centre last night.

The concept is to use singing to improve the health and wellbeing of the participants and to deepen bonds and links within the community.

The event last night was led by Graham Clifford, a social innovator who developed the concept of One Town One Voice.

The Fermoy International Choir also took part in the event last night – this is Mr Clifford’s home town and the original group to work under this approach.

The Tipperary group will meet again on Monday March 4th at 7pm in Knockanrawley Resource Centre and all are welcome to attend.
