Tipperary Tidy Towns Group is to hold it’s Annual General Meeting(AGM) tonight.

The committee is expecting a large turnout for the annual review of achievements over the last 12 months. The Group won a national award at this year’s Supervalu Tidy towns Competition in the Youth Involvement Category.  Chairperson Paul O’Callaghan says the Group now has 4 TUS workers and is ambitious for further projects in 2024.

Mr O’Callaghan says people can be involved in a variety of ways – in administration, grant applications, social media, practical work such as litter picking, planting or painting and says the group would like the community to attend and show support for the group’s work.

The AGM will be held in the Community Services Centre, St Michael’s street at 7pm this evening.
