Two Boil Water Notices In Tipperary Lifted Today

297

Two boil water notices in county Tipperary have been lifted as of today.

Customers supplied by the Dundrum Public Water Supply and the Glenary Public Water Supply can now use the water without having to first boil the water. Uisce Eireann says remedial works have been completed and satisfactory monitoring results as to the water quality has been recorded on both schemes.

However, the Boil Water Notice on the Ballylooby/Burncourt Schemes remains in effect.

The Dundrum Scheme supplies Boherlahan, Goold’s Cross, Clonoulty, Barraderry and surrounding areas. Dundrum village itself was not affected as Dundrum Village is supplied from another scheme

The Glenary Public Water Supply serves parts of Clonmel Town centre and surrounding areas including the Cashel Road, the Cahir Road and the Ring Road; and the Kilcomma/Finger Post areas in Co. Waterford.

The Uisce Éireann Customer Contact Centre (1800 278 278) is available to answer customer queries in relation to the lifting of these water quality notices.
