Minister for Foreign Affairs says he’s “saddened and frustrated” that an event had to be called off because of a security alert at a venue in Belfast.
It follows reports that a vehicle had been hijacked in the city and the driver was ordered by gunpoint to go to the location in north Belfast
Simon Covney was in the middle of his speech when it was alerted that he needed to leave the event.
