Minister Ryan also says there will be priority investment for local by-passes, to protect some of the country’s best known market towns such as Listowel, Moycullen, Slane and Foxford.
This is in line with the Government’s Towns Centre First policy, facilitating more people-friendly development and ensuring that the towns can thrive and develop without 24/7 car congestion according to Minister Ryan.
A planning application in respect of the N24 Cahir towards Oola project is expected to be submitted to An Bord Pleanála next year.
