Gardaí seized a car in Fethard yesterday after establishing that the car involved did not have insurance.
Garda from Clonmel were on a patrol in the area at the time and ran a check on the vehicle by using the MobilityApp – a handheld device that allows Garda to check Insurance, NCT and Driving Licence details from the roadside.
The vehicle was also displaying a false insurance disc. The driver will now face a future court date for the offences.
