Mass Times Are To Change In Local Parishes Soon

Mass times in local parishes are to change in the coming weeks – especially from the Weekend beginning February 25th

The Cashel and Emly Diocese is taking the measure to reduce the number of available weekend Masses due to a shortage of priests. Neighbouring parishes have been asked by Archbishop Ciaran O’Reilly to collaborate on Mass times that will help to reduce the burden on the available priests.

In Tipperary Town the Vigil Mass on Saturday evening will be at 6pm from the weekend of Feb 25th and Sunday Mass times will change to 9.30am and 11.30am.

The neighbouring parish of Bansha and Kilmoyler will reduce from the present 5 weekend Masses to just two – the Vigil Mass will be in Kilmoyler Church at 7.30pm on Saturday and the Sunday Mass will be in Bansha Church at 10.30am.

The parishes of Sologhead & Oola and Annacarty & Donohill have yet to finalise their new Mass times. The four parishes have been grouped together to try to coordinate their Mass times. Across the Diocese similar groupings of neighbouring parishes have been made for the same purpose.
