Tipp Mid West Radio is heartbroken today to confirm the death of our esteemed colleague Mossie Richardson late last night.
Mossie was best known as DJ Mossie and had been ill for a short time.
Originally from Knocklong he lived in Kilmallock with his wife and daughter – family, music and Limerick were the most important things to Mossie who was also a Liverpool FC fan.
Mossie Richardson was a contributor to several programmes on Tipp Mid West Radio over a period of 15 years.
He presented the very popular Sound of Sunday for over 2 hours with the best of Country Music, having previously hosted Country Jamboree on Saturdays for many years.
He also presented a mid-week show with the best of Country Music.
Funeral details are yet to be announced. May he Rest In Peace.
