Event On Giving New Lease Of Life To Vacant Building To Be Held In Thurles

TUS Campus in Thurles is to host an event aimed at owners of vacant properties who are looking at ways of bringing the buildings back into use.

The event is to feature 5 speakers including architects, building regulations experts and officials from Tipperary’s Planning Authority and the Council’s Vacant Property Officer.

The Government has a number of overlapping programmes aimed at delivering housing, reducing vacancy and dereliction, supporting town centres and reducing emissions in the construction sector.

The range of programmes offer a number of supports and the event hopes to share information and provide motivation for vacant properties to be reimagined and reused

The event is co- hosted by the Tipperary Museum of Hidden history, The Heritage Council and the Planning Authority.
