A major initiative by the Tipperary Town Enhancement Group in association with Tipperary Chamber of Commerce, to improve the appearance of buildings in Tipperary Town, is being launched this Wednesday July 14th.
Titled ‘Crowning Tipperary Town with Colour’, the initiative is being supported by Crown Paints and by the local Crown stockists, Tipperary Co-operative and Joe Whelan’s and supported financially by Tipperary County Council and Tipperary Credit Union Ltd. The event will be held virtually over Facebook from the Tipperary Excel at 12:30pm and will be live streamed through the page of Tipperary Chamber of Commerce.
With the support of the Tipperary County Council and Tipperary Town Revitalisation Task Force, the organising group aims to improve the appearance of the buildings to bring pride back to our town. Guidelines for the project have been formalised and agreed by the participating businesses and grant support has been approved through the existing Painting and Enhancement Scheme with Tipperary County Council. Additional funding support for the initiative is being provided by Tipperary Credit Union. Pierse Motors have come on board with branding support as have Munster Advertising.
Ann Whelan, owner of long-established Tipperary Town business, Joe Whelan’s said they are “Crowning Tipperary Town with Colour with Crown Paints.
