Gardai are appealing for witnesses after man in his 20s died in a road traffic collision in Co Tipperary today.
The collision occurred on the R687 Poulamucka to Barne Road at around 1.30 this afternoon.
The man died when the car he was driving left the road.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The stretch of road is currently closed to allow a forensic collision investigation take place. Local diversions are in effect.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have been travelling this stretch of road between 1.15pm and 1.40pm this afternoon to contact Cahir Garda Station on 052 7445630, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
