Gardai in Tipperary are investigating an armed robbery in the town last night.
Two males carrying knives are understood to have entered the shop at around 8 pm.
In the course of the robbery, they threatened staff and then proceeded to take the contents of the till. They then fled the scene.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the Bank Place area of the town to contact Tipperary town Garda station on (062) 51212.
