The Environment Minister Alan Kelly has announced addition funding for housing in Co Tipperary.
Worth €3.6 million to the county, the money is to be used for the acquisition and purchase of homes from people with specific housing needs, such as the elderly, disabled people as well as the homeless.
When other announcements are taken into account, it brings the amount of money the Minsiter has said he intends to spend on housing in Co Tipperary up to 2017 to more than €60 million.
