A 17 year-old quad bike driver has been killed in a road crash in Co Limerick.
His vehicle was in collision with a tractor near Doon.
The 17 year old was driving a quad bike on R507 link road between the N24 and Doon Village when it collided with a tractor at Cluggane Cross.
The driver of the tractor was engaged in hedge cutting along the road when the crash occured.
He was uninjured.
The 17 year old was taken to Limerick University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He is not yet being named but it is know he is from Co Limerick.
