Tipp Under Status Yellow Snow-Ice Warning

Met Eireann has issued a status Yellow  Snow-Ice warning for all of Munster, including Tipperary and 8 counties in Leinster.
The warning was issued just after 11am this morning and came into effect as of noon. The warning is in place until 6pm this evening.

Met Éireann is forecasting that a band of rain will continue to move southwards, turning to sleet and snow in places.

This could result in icy stretches on untreated surfaces, poor visibility and hazardous traveling conditions.

All of Ireland is subject to a Status Yellow Ice Warning tonight as Met Eireann says low temperatures could lead to ice on untreated surfaces leading to hazardous travelling conditions.

This warning comes into effect at 6pm this evening and is in effect until 9am tomorrow Saturday.
