Community Shocked After Theft Of Items From Glenbrohane’s St Patrick’s Church

Members of the community attending St Patrick’s Church in Glenbrohane are expressing shock and sadness at the theft of some items from the Church last week.

Two advent candles and two deer(stuffed toys)that formed part of the Christmas display in the Church Sanctuary were stolen sometime between January 1st and January 6th.

Fr Joseph Tynan, Parish Priest of Knocklong & Glenbrohane, confirmed the thefts to Tipp Mid-West Radio and appealed for a return of the items or that anyone with information would get in contact with the Church leadership in Glenbrohane.

The missing candles, one pink and one purple formed part of the Advent wreath and are said to have been approximately 10 to 12 inches in size.
