The business community in Thurles have been invited to meet with the organisers of the 2024 Munster Fleadh to be staged in the town next July.
A dedicated committee has been put together to organise the Fleadh in Thurles scheduled for July 15 to July 21 next year as there is currently no active Comhaltas branch in Thurles.
The organising committee say they will need the support of the business community to run the event but in addition want to make the Munster Fleadh one that celebrates the unique features of Thurles.
The committee are grateful to all that attended or supported the delivery of a fundraising event in Thurles Greyhound Stadium on November 25th. The Fleadh is expected to bring almost 4,000 competitors to Thurles in addition to family members and fans of the Fleadh experience.
The meeting will take place on Thursday December 7th at 8pm in the Anner Hotel.
