Drivers Advised to Take Caution Due To Frost

509

Drivers are advised to drive with caution this morning after a heavy overnight frost. Most roads were dry yesterday before temperatures dropped overnight but there could be patches of ice on roads.

The Road Safety Authority advises drivers to clear their windows of ice before setting out on a journey today and to leave extra space between their own vehicle and a vehicle ahead of them.

A Status Yellow – Low Temperature/Ice warning for Ireland is valid for all of Ireland until noon today. Another Status Yellow Low temperature and ice warning comes into effect at 5pm today until noon on Saturday.
