Tipperary County Council Roads Section is advising that the Pedestrian Crossing lights on Fr Matthew Street(N74), Tipperary town, remain out of order.

The lights were repaired on 28th of October by a contractor but have subsequently failed again.

The Council says the problem with the lights at the Pedestrian Crossing seems to be a bigger issue than the contractor first thought.

Tipperary Council’s Roads section reports that it is seeking an urgent restoration of the lights and is now awaiting pricing on new parts for the fixture.

Tipperary County Council has issued a correction in respect of Traffic Management on the N24. Works pruning roadside trees near Bansha Woods will be completed by November 14th and not extending until January as originally posted.
