Some Cashel Residents Without Street Lights Since Saturday

Residents in Cashel are without street lighting since Saturday in the Oliver Plunkett Park area, in a smaller area of Spafield and on the pathway that links Spafield to St John, The Baptist Primary School. The Oliver Plunkett Park Estate has over 60 houses.

The issue has been reported to Tipperary County Council. A private company, Enerveo, is contracted to supply repairs to street lighting to Tipperary County Council.

Tipperary TD Martin Browne, based in Cashel, says he is awaiting an update from Tipperary county Council. It is not clear at this time if the outage is caused by a system fault or works in the area relating to the installation of broadband infrastructure.

Faults for any street light can be logged with the company on their website at this link here or by calling 0818 372 772. Those reporting faults are asked to check the pole number before calling to report the outage.
