Gardaí are investigating an assault incident that occurred in the early hours of Monday 7th August 2023 in Nenagh. It’s reported that at approximately 1:45am on this date, two males were assaulted on Silver Street in Nenagh by a group of males, who later fled the scene.
One of the males (20s) was taken to University Hospital Limerick with serious but non-life threatening injuries. A second male, a teenage youth, was taken to Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise with non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
Any persons who may have camera footage (including dash-cam and mobile phone footage) and were travelling in the Silver Street area between 1:30am and 2:30am on Monday 7th August 2023 are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
