Tipperary University Hospital (TUH) management are advising that the hospital is currently managing a small hospital outbreak of Covid-19 infection.
Management is advising that visiting to Medical 1 ward is restricted – strictly no visiting unless by prior arrangement with Nurse Manager or is deemed necessary for compassionate reasons.
Visiting to all other departments remain unaffected at this time, however members of the public are asked to not attend the hospital if they are unwell or symptomatic to avoid further spread.
The hospital management apologises for the inconvenience, but says the restriction is necessary to protect vulnerable persons.
