Tipperary Musical Society was honoured at the weekend when two cast members secured AIMS Awards at the national ceremony held in Killarney.
Madeline Blackwell is the winner of the Best Actress Award and Derek Ryan the Best Male singer.
The pair had starred in this year’s production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame for their respective roles as Esmeralda and Frollo.
The Society also finished in the runner up position for the Award for Best Chorus and Best Programme – demonstrating excellence both on stage and in respect the Front of House experience for patrons.
Tipperary Musical Society is to perform the Musical Comedy Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein for it’s 2024 season with performance dates now set for between February 12 – 17 2024 at the Tipperary Excel Centre
