County Tipperary Chamber of Commerce is encouraging it’s members to contribute to the development of a Climate Action plan for the County.

The group represents business operators across the county and wants ideas as to how the county can transition to a low carbon county.

Tipperary County Council is required to prepare a Local Authority Climate Action Plan which will outline the pathway for County Tipperary to reduce its emissions by the required 51% by 2030. The plan will include both mitigation and adaptation measures and will be updated every five years. The Chamber G

roup is asking members to make their submission by the deadline of April 14th. The Chamber sees both threats and opportunities for business owners in responding to the Climate Action targets to be achieved.  Full details can be found on the council website at this link here.
