Andrew Lloyd Webber has announced the death of his son Nick.
Mr Lloyd Webber had cancelled some recent appearances to spend more time with his son who had been diagnosed with gastric cancer. Nick Webber, aged 43, died in Basingstoke Hospital in Hampshire surrounded by the extended Webber family according to a social media post by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Nick is the eldest son of Andrew Lloyd Webber and had received Grammy nominations for his work on Cinderella the musical and also composed the music for an adaptation of The Little Prince.
Mr Andrew Lloyd Webber is a frequent visitor to his Tipperary home at Kiltinan Castle Stud including hosting King Charles and Camilla during their visit in 2022.
