Tipperary farmers are being urged to get the right advice if putting Registered Farm partnerships in place. Farmers are advised to carefully consider the impact such an agreement can have revenue from Department of Agriculture and EU funding Schemes. The current deadline for applying for a Registered Farm Partnership number this year is the 10th of February 2023 – a registered farm partnership can be put in place after this date however the Basic Payment Scheme transfers will remain unchanged for the 2023 scheme year
There are several advantages for farmers to use a registered farm partnership including in the area of grants, taxation, and providing a good route for succession and expansion.
