Eighteen patients are reported to be receiving care on trolleys in TUH Clonmel earlier today according to the INMO trolley watch report. Nationally there are 24 children under age 16 waiting on a bed today – overall a total of 452 admitted patients are waiting on a bed according to the nursing union’s data.
In University Hospital Limerick there are 70 patients experiencing delayed admission. 25 of the patients are on trolleys in the Emergency Department while a further 45 admitted patients in UHL are accommodated by adding their trolley to some ward of the hospital. Nenagh hospital reports 5 patients accommodated today, by adding their trolley to some ward.
