Thursday, January 26th, the curtains will rise in the Excel Theatre in Tipperary Town at 8pm on the new production of ‘The Cripple of Inishmaan by Martin McDonagh. Come and support this community event on this Thursday, Friday or Saturday night in the Excel Theatre in Tipperary Town at 8pm.

Glen of Aherlow Winter Walking Festival from Friday, January 27th to Sunday January 29th. Seven walks over 3 days led by guides from the Galtee Walking Club. Friday 27th is night walk, starts at 7:30 pm, register at Aherlow House from 6:30pm, be sure to bring a torch. Saturday and Sunday has 3 walks each day on the high and low Galtees, also C walks on Slievenamuck. Online booking available for Saturday and Sunday. Women are being offered early morning introduction to weight lifting training by the Tipperary Sports Hub located in the Canon Hayes Recreation Centre. The programme is called “Ladies Who Lift” and will be available on Monday and Thursday mornings at 7:15 am – 8 am.
