Tipperary Town Task force is inviting the public to a consultation evening in relation to the proposed draft design of ‘The Plan’, a public park in Redmond Square, Limerick Road.
The event will be held on Wednesday next September 14th at 7.00pm at Tipperary Excel, all are welcome.
Limerick based architects Drake Hourigan will present their draft design which has been developed following an earlier round of consultation in April which included a public meeting at ‘The Plan’ and a public survey that garnered well over 100 responses.
The project is being led by Tipperary Town Revitalisation Task Force in collaboration with the West End Residents Committee, Light Up the Plan Committee, Tipperary Tidy Towns and Tipperary County Council.
Funding totalling € 17,650 was approved by South Tipperary Development Company under the Rural Development Programme / LEADER Programme in late 2021 for the project that will see an improved design developed for the area.
Applegreen (Limerick Road, Tipperary Town) are also part sponsoring the design project.
