A burst water main in Ballard will cause some disruption to supplies for the next few hours.

Staff from Tipperary County Council water services are hoping to have repairs completed and supply restored later this morning.

Irish water continues to appeal to customers to conserve water supplies by avoiding powerwashing, using hosepipes for their garden or washing cars.

Overnight restrictions were imposed on the Kilcash Water supply last night. The supply will be turned off from 8pm until 8am in Kilcash until further notice.

Areas under severe pressure, and where customers are experiencing impacts such as reduced pressure and intermittent supply include; Carrick on Suir (Crotty’s Lake Supply), Coalbrook, Tullohea, Kilcash, Glengar, Templemore and Templetuohy. Also parts of the Fethard Regional Supply network including Moglass, Arbourhill, Killenaule and Ballinure.
