A power outage is likely to impact customers of Irish Water served by the Springmount Golden Water Treatment Plant.
The plant supplies the Cashel area mainly – power has now been restored and customers should have water supply and normal pressure in a few hours.
Irish water reports that the reservoir level is also quite low with between 5,000-10,000 customers served by this supply.
Customers are also asked to be mindful of their water usage and to conserve water around their homes and businesses as the dry period continues, and demand increases.
