Gardaí in Tipperary are appealing to drivers to slow down.
Several videos have been published by Gardaí in recent weeks as they highlight the dangers of speeding on roads.
Garda Jamie Ryan, who’s part of the Road Policing of the Tipperary Division says “all to often an Garda Siochana are tasked with the painful job of calling to someone’s home, and informing that their loved one has been killed as a result of a road traffic collision”
Garda Ryan says we all have the right and responsibility to arrive to our destination safely.
The force is thanking those of you who practice safe driving techniques and who don’t driver under an intoxicant.
People are being encouraged to Be a Life Saver and slow down.
