The 67th edition of the Ras Tailteann cycling race are heading toward West Tipperary today.
Riders will cover 756km in total with the first stage ending in the Horse and Jockey near Thurles.
The first stage involves a distance of approximately 140km .
The cyclist will leave the Horse and Jockey at 10.40am tomorrow morning to travel to Castleisland in Kerry via Thurles, Holycross, Clonoulty, Dundrum, Tipperary town, Lattin, Cullen, Kilmallock and Charlieville.
The community in the Horse and Jockey Village has put a huge effort in preparing for the stage finish and to host the participants and officials.
