The Canon Hayes Recreation Centre in Tipperary Town is appealing for information after an act of vandalism over the weekend.
The 3G astroturf pitch was burnt, along with damage caused to a fence on the property.
The centre now says that repairs will take place on the damaged pitch and the fence.
Management at the centre are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area to contact Tipperary Town Gardaí on 062 80670 or themselves on 062 52022.
