This has been implemented by many other EU countries.

Mr. Veradkar says officals are examining the different approaches taken in Europe before making a propsal for Irish citizens which could not be expected for several months.

Mr. Veradkar revealed that Insurance Ireland will need to assess people in accordance to the type of cancer they had to properly calculate the risk invlolved and if they applied a rating due to cancer it would generally be time bound to 10 years subject to no further complications.
