Tipp Digital Hub offering free remote working facilities

With many employers asking people to work from home to restrict the spread of the coronavirus, the Tipp Digital Hub is being promoted as an alternative for workers who do not have the facilities to work from home.

Tipp Digital Hub is a six-desk facility with high-speed broadband and free parking at its base in the Technology Park in Tipperary Town.

Morgan Mooney, representing Tipp Digital Hub has said that in the current climate some workers would like to work from home but cannot do so because they do not have the facilities to do so at their homes.

Because of this, Tipp Digital Hub is offering desk space free until March 29th.

It is being pointed out that desks are provided as individual pods with low dividing partitions between clients, with a robust cleaning and sanitisation policy in place.

The facility, established last year through an initiative involving Jobs4Tipp, the Tipperary Local Enterprise Office and County Council, offers a basic canteen. They say every effort is being made in line with HSE guidelines to ensure this vital facility for clients remains operational for the foreseeable future.

It is open from 9 am until 5.30 pm Monday to Friday and bookings are facilitated through the website tippdigitalhub.ie.
