84 people waiting for beds at hospitals serving Co Tipp

The number of people waiting on hospital trolleys is approaching the 500 mark.
According to the latest figures from the INMO, 495 people were waiting to be assigned beds at the country’s hospitals this morning.


The organisation has pointed out that six hospitals were under significant pressure – with those serving Co Tipperary particularly affected.

54 people were waiting to be allocated beds at University Hospital Limerick, while at South Tipperary General Hospital, the figure was 30.
