Fine Gael TD Noel Coonan has demanded that the IDA ensure that Co Tipperary benefits from its ambitious plan to bring 80,000 jobs into the economy over the next five years.
He was commenting on the government agency’s latest strategy to boost foreign direct investment.
Mr. Coonan has contacted the Head of Regions for the IDA, Breda O’Toole asking her to make sure Co Tipperary features strongly in its investment plan and cited the county’s geographic location as being very important strategically.
