Bomb threat to Environment Minister Alan Kelly’s office today

The minister for the Environment, Tipperary’s Alan Kelly has expressed his shock at the recent bomb threat which was phoned through to his office in Nenagh this morning.

The call in question took place at around 9 o’clock this morning.

A person is understood to have used abusive language and made bomb threats several times.

Speaking afterwards, Minister Kelly condemned the incident describing it as ‘deplorable’ while adding that it was a traumatic and upsetting experience for his staff.

The gardai have been notified and a statement has been made.
